- I have a Zip drive, got it last year.
- I also have 5 disks, with 5 more on the way
- All are in PC Ms-DOS format (which is the format they came in)
- (apart from the Zip Tools Disk, which i formatted, first as an Amiga FFS,
- then as a Ms-DOS (via a Mac), but i had minor probs in that it at first
- refused to recognize having a drive attached)
-
- I have a question:-
-
- Can you create a Macintosh partition on an Ms-DOS Zip disk?
- This is so i can use it with ShapeShifter....
-
- If so, how, and can you do it via a real Mac (will Norton Utilities do it?)
- or do i have to go some long winded way about it...
- (i have lots of Mac software already, and i even have all the system software
- in the System Folder...its just that its on the PC formatted disks, and
- therefore unuseable by a Macintosh system until it sits properly on a Mac
- partition.
-
- cheers
